It’s been pretty much steadily raining all day apart from a few brief sunny-ish intervals. The rain, and a sinus infection, meant my plans for run 2 this morning were scuppered. I’m hoping to get going again over the weekend but I think it’s best to recover from this infection first.
So, what to do on a rainy rainy Friday with two kids? During Ed’s morning nap Lil and I played with plasticine and modelling clay. I may have played a little more than Lil did.
Once Edward was awake I decided that rain or no rain we needed to leave these four walls. So off we went, Ed in the stroller bubble, Lil with a pig umbrella and gumboots, and me with a penguin umbrella. One coffee, one babycino, one baby mum-mum, and some fresh air later we were all a bit happier.
Home for lunch and then I had the brilliant idea to record a vlog. I wasn’t sure if this would make it here for public viewing but what the heck, hey? I must apologise for the rather abrupt ending. My nose started running. And I swear Lillian doesn’t normally pick her nose quite so much.
Weekend plans are few. This is good. Next week is my 7 year (!) blogging anniversary, so look out for something exciting on Thursday. (Not another vlog, I promise.)
